I think we already have a balance of events. Maybe even too many already, at least too many 1v1's.
They are fun, but UO is more than events.
If there was too many events then I'd get bored of them fast, events don't offer the atmosphere and fun of everyday Brittania.

If this were debatable, I would vote against them altogether. Whenever an event goes on (the automated stuff) all the monsters that I'm farming go to the event zone.

I think we should go back to the spirit of the original UO events and stop rewarding everyone trophies and just give the hardest workers special memento type items like that shal' etar shield from teh past.
Not that i'm complaining about the trophies, as they give people a chance at things they wouldn't normally be able to get, but it would be nice to have some sort of surprise at these things rather than just going for the trophies.
