PVP Grief!

are there any pvp guilds put there that pvp? and maybe a honor system like stay and fight? and or no looting? idc about the looting part i just wnat to join a guild that is warred with another guild that does pvp and not so much pk bards and claim leetness. but actual field pvp. not trammie tournys...

anyone know what im looking for or does this shard not offer? im willing to farm money to start this if anything. but im slow at farming gold and im making my first pvp char and i didnt play UOSA i joined during the uor era. but anyways yeah

i also need to learn to pvp. but nothing better than trial and error. its just items f it

There's a difference between being an a-hole and just killing newbs. I never said you were an a-hole; you're more literate than most of the folks here whose "main" is a PK, and I think you're pretty candid.

But there's no way you're racking up 90+ kills in 3 or 4 days without doing most of your killing against the defenseless. It's a numbers thing - there just aren't that many people out there, in dungeons. And I'd guess Deceit and Shame are actually two of the better places for finding people who are OK enough to actually try to fight back.

Some guy named "total darkness" appears to have started as a new red a few days ago. He's 17 times better than you at PvP (I did the math) - definitely better than me. I've seen him like 12 times over the weekend. At times with other members of his guild, at times alone. He recalls around like a madman - no joke, I saw him at least 7 times in one particular hour. And he's only got 30 or so kills.

Anyways my point is not to call you a wimp - again, you're candid and pretty much called yourself that. My point is, there's two aspects of the risk/reward ratio. You've done a good job at mitigating the risk, but as I see it you're probably doing a poor job at maximizing the reward for yourself. If you enjoy actual PvP, different than PKing, maybe stick to that. I've seen your red a bunch, but have yet to see your PvP char.

Again, simply not true. Theres numerous people who could vouch for myself, and the fact is my past speaks for itself. Not saying I refrain from killing anyone when I log my PK, But its asinine to just assume I target any certain place/group.

One of them being Alice Cooper on chesapeake who had something like 7k+, who rolled around with a huge guild. And to my knowledge he died a handful of times.

hah glad someone else remembers this guy...I was just a lone newb on Chessy back during the era, and oh how I remember cringing when I saw "Miss Piggy", "Juggernaut", and "Alice Cooper" all rolling out together...good times

I'm wondering this as well. More specifically if there is any group of people that get together and duel reguarly/occasionally on this server?
I have virtually played no form of this game in the past 8 years, and have not played ANY form of T2A in the past 10 years. I'm reguarly trying to find people to duel with so I can back in the swing of things again, but find PvP a lot of times almost nonexistent except for PKing and avoiding getting PK'ed. My ping makes TC unplayable as well, and would much rather mess around on the actual shard anyway. Make's it pretty hard to get used to PvP again having not done it for so long.
Does anyone know of people/places where dueling occurs?

One thing that will be helping the PvP (mind you I mean PVP not PK) environment to change here soon is the patch this week. The order and Chaos faction system is getting tweek in the patch. The goal of which is to help improve it and restore it back to a PvP only and not PK system. So anyone who is looking for good PvP action, now would be the time to join or create an order or chaos faction guild.

i would love to see order/chaos battles all over town thats what im after. as it stands thou all the best pvpers are chaos i think they do this so they dont have to fight each other and get called nuubs when they die .

either way they will have to decide to either be PK or PvP. Can't stay chaos and PK anymore. So either we'll see change in the distribution of order and chaos guilds, or we'll see a drop of chaos member, and a new wave of PvPers step in. It'll be interesting no matter what, and if we have allot of new PvPers it'll change the game for the PKers.

Ifrit and SoggyWaffles, I actually posted in the guilds subforum asking the SAME EXACT THING.. This is why I came to the shard, looking for good pvp and wars.. I'm not trying to do tourneys or any of that- just field.. and have fun..
I came here with a friend as well, so if you two (Ifrit and SoggyWafles) are down, we could get together and start a guild or something.. I can farm money as well whatever it takes to get started- while I don't have vent my friend does and we are extremely willing to get started in the PVP scene.. I'm still macroing my chars but let me know if you two want to get something going.. I didn't get great responses in the guilds subforum so please get back to me on this- I really wanna get into the scene here.. Some good looking guilds and competition.

yeha same here i am still macroing my chars but finished mager med and resist last couple days ago 99.9 resist donjt feel like macroign the .1 and wasting regs lol will let someone gm it for me with FS. but yeah when i get done i will be willing to pvp. i have a provoker dude for my money income so that have been supplemnting my macroing. but lets all get together and start a guild. its been a while since i have pvped but liek u i like field pvp better than tournies. stay in touch through PM or soemthing. i have vent. its not hard to set up.

I have to say this is the first time I have been excited enough to post on a topic. Awesome change! Can't wait to sport my spermy sheild
