Dire Wolfs Extinct?

recently I found some around Blood Plains (south of Minoc)

I've seen em north of Wrong, and near whatever shrine is W of there (I can never remember which shrine is which).

I saw one last week...I remember being confused because the corpse says "silver wolf corpse"

I believe that would be the Justice Shrine . . .
