Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
It is somewhat an issue of era accuracy. I don't remember a single event on any server where you were provided free gear and/or lost nothing when you died. When you went to a super-spawn of liches or whatever, you brought what you could afford to lose and when it ran out you were either recalling or dead.

Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
lets wipe the shard and make it more true to era in the speed of building skills, make the economy better, and create the same policies.
p.s. and allow only one account per person and if you want another account you have to pay 10 dollars per each extra account.
NO MORE QUAKE UO PLZ

Yes, let's do illegal stuff!
SWEET!
Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
This is about bringing T2A closer to the atmosphere and world of the era. Nothing is for free. The shard should not give players any opportunities to perform tasks without consuming resources.
The players are supposed to consume resources, and when resources aren't consumed they aren't players anymore.

What?

Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
its not illegal... everyone would have their 1 account. if you wanted another one it would require a donation.. you arent forcing people to pay, it is their choice. it is in the same vein as donating for neon items on other shardsTron wrote: Yes, let's do illegal stuff!

A monthly "donation" that's mandatory for keeping your account status?
Sounds like a subscription to me.
Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
for keeping any account over one.. do i have to draw a map to show you how this works? everyone gets 1 free account. any account there after is a 10 dollar donation.Tron wrote:A monthly "donation" that's mandatory for keeping your account status?

Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
In order to make it legal it would actually be a "monthy fee/subscription" for the extra access to the server.

subscription for extra accounts, that's all that is.
its not a donation, its a recurring charge for a service.
Re: The unbalancing (and repetitive) effect of Free Use.
why must you be so ignorant... regardless of how you perceive it, it works. it is in no way mandatory.Tron wrote:.....

Use your imagination. Players would be GMs.Tron wrote:Orsius wrote: The players are supposed to consume resources, and when resources aren't consumed they aren't players anymore.

i'll tell you what's ignorant.
trying to break a law that could get the server shut down because your preferred playstyle differs from the current norm here.
keep pushing this subject, IT WILL HAPPEN.
oh wait, no it won't. time to stfu?

It has nothing to do with my playstyle.
