I don't have wrestle or resist on my bard and I rarely ever get PKed. "If a pk comes right now, what am I going to do"? needs to always be on your mind, in other word, always have an escape plan. There are things you can do to get away. Always have magic reflect up. Record a macro that drops a box, or a table or any object that cannot be walked over right behind you, if Tron comes for you, simply deploy a box, he'll have to run around it, giving you the time to hit your recall button. Have teleport items on you with a convenient hotkey to d. click it, this can also put space in between you.

A lot of people ask me why I don't have Eval, the reason is that the bulk of the damage is done by provoking and energy vortexes, offensively, magery is really only used for the kill shot on a monster that is almost dead. Hiding and resist are useful skills but keep in mind that there are certain items that, in some situations, can be substitutes for these skills, i.e. invisibility and magic reflect items.
