I thought for sure when I first started playing here over a year ago. That you could double click the scissors and then target cloth to cut bandages. No matter how much cloth was there is how many bandages you got. Well, I ended up have some r/l issues and wants on for awhile. When I get the things I needed to take care of done I started playing again.
Now, when you double click the scissors and click cloth it's only 1 bandage.
I can see where changing that you can get different uses out of it. So, my question is then; " If you only want to make cloth just to cut up for bandages is there a way to code that into the sewing kits? Maybe a different option idk something though aleast cutting up 2550 yards it real time comsuming, if ya know what I mean :p

Re: Cutting cloth to bandages
I'm new around here, but I'm pretty sure that change was made to match the T2A Era. In UO back then, you had to cut bandages one at a time (while walking through 3 feet of snow, up hill)
It is rather annoying, but the staff are dedicated to making this as close to the real T2A as possible. Even if that means not including some of the few 'good' changes that were made to UO in later ages.
I don't think they'll add any such option into sewing kits for the same reason, it didn't exist then.

If cutting bandies is too much work, and you dont wanna razor it...You can always buy bandages.

Right between Vesper and Minoc.

2 gold per bandage isnt so bad. Also featured: Chest with random scrolls for newer players trying to start a spell book, A pickable chest frequently reloaded with random loot for the aspiring new lock picker, Charged Runebooks for the new player who doesnt know how to get anywhere yet but dont forget to purchase a "Mark your own Rune Kit" off the vendor before you go, Many items are geared for the newer player such as New bone armor or individual potions As well as Grizzled veterens such as colored sandles and magic weapons. So come one down to the Vesper/Minoc Welcome Center...We'll leave the light on for ya!

It's easy as hell. Just buy a bunch of cloth record dblclicking scissors then cloth and loop it every 500ms. If you need some cheap cloth go to the second small vendor house behind yew bank there is a vendor that Silas runs that sells them.

Re: Cutting cloth to bandages
you could use 2 or 3 characters to cut them at the same time also
