Help with provocation macro

Post by Mr.T »

Don't know if this should be going here or guides but anyways......

How can I set it so that when my instrument breaks my char automatically double clicks a new one?

I thought by changing double click to type so its double click(lute) would fix this but it did absolutely nothing. What do I do to randomly click any lute in my bag?

Double click by type (instrument)
Use skill provocation
Target #1
Target #2
Pause 10 seconds
(loop)

If you do it in a public place like a stable, it's probably wise to get a chicken (or any animal...) or two, and have them sit in the stall door. People can still AFK kill you, but you won't be killed by someone simply opening doors of the aggro animals.

EDIT: Apparently I didn't read your post all the way. The answer to your question is clearly "yes."

UseSkill Provocation
If (sysMessage"what")
Wait for Target
Target by Type tambourine (0E9D]
Else
Wait for Target
Absolute Target
Wait for Target
Absolute Target
Pause 10.50 sec

Worked a treat. Only ever looked for an instrument when the previous one broke.

tambourine (0E9D] = your instrument type
