Connection problem

Hi, i have a problem connecting to secondage, i have windows xp professional, i have framework 1.1 and i patch with no problem with the patch on the download(5.0.8.3.), but when i start the game with Razor, the screen starts flashing between the grey screen of the game and my desktop, in the end comes an error saying that or i dont have enough virtual memory or space in the disk, and that cant be possible because i have 2G ram and 40g of free space at least, i tried to start directly from the client to see if would give me the same error, but the screen starts flashing again and just crashes.
can anyone help me with this?
