Just a tip, I believe if you use invisibility in place of energy bolt, it comes out slightly cheaper I believe, because black pearls are one of the more expensive reagents.

Not a huge difference but if your new to the server like me, it can help :>

That's the spell to cast if you aren't trying to raise resist or haven't a safe place to macro in. But if you really had to I would spend the gold and macro on a ship if nowhere else and be at least semi-afk if you can't be or don't care to be consistantly present.

I'm using the macro posted in the beginning and I'm on ebolt now but the timing has gotten messed up. I only cast once and since I usually fizzle theres a long delay. I dont really mind but I was wondering if there was a faster way to do it.

I see a lot of very useful info and macro setups but nothing concerning Eval Int. Is there a certain level I should have it at? For example GM it first...or lock at 50? Being relatively new and still gp challenged any light someone can shed on this would be very helpful. Thanks!

I wouldnt even start with 50 eval, start with 0 as its something that can be easily macro'd up. If you are looking to gain resist as well and thus not cast in town then I'd think you'd want as little as possible so you aren't killing yourself. If in town then it doesn't matter.

No problem. I dont have a house yet so I am macroing in town, already have GM magery. One guy is a PvMer so I will gain resist when I hunt and the other is a PvPer so I'll have to work on his resist after I get a house.

I have a house.. no character anywhere close to pvp yet..did my char development in a somewhat backward fashion..never had a thunter/fisherman before so I started with that..it's been slow but some gold is finally trickling in, unfortunately it's slower coming in than what goes back out on resource purchases lol..thanks again and good luck!

I hear that. I never had a thunter, theif, or fisherman and still don't... yet.

I decided to create my dexxer first so that he can get me some sort of gold coming in. I have some modest wealth, just enough to buy a large home just need a space but like you I spend thousands on regs at a time. I have 2 mages in the low 90s of magery and its been murder on my pockets. I guess in hindsight I should have done 1 at a time eh?

So you want to macro Magery?

On your mage character, at your house, with your extra reagents in a container on the ground.
!Loop
Assistant.Macros.IfAction|50|0|5|Sulfurous Ash
Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|0|Restock Agent-1
Assistant.Macros.AbsoluteTargetAction|0|0|1074557206|1230|908|13|3705
Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:02
Assistant.Macros.EndIfAction
Assistant.Macros.IfAction|50|0|5|Spider's Silk
Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|0|Restock Agent-1
Assistant.Macros.AbsoluteTargetAction|0|0|1074557206|1230|908|13|3705
Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:02
Assistant.Macros.EndIfAction
Assistant.Macros.IfAction|1|1|40
Assistant.Macros.WaitForStatAction|0|1|60|3600
Assistant.Macros.MacroCastSpellAction|51
Assistant.Macros.WaitForTargetAction|30
Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|1059|
Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:01
Assistant.Macros.ElseAction
Assistant.Macros.UseSkillAction|46
Assistant.Macros.IfAction|4|0|you must wait
Assistant.Macros.ElseAction
Assistant.Macros.WaitForStatAction|1|1|40|10
Assistant.Macros.EndIfAction
Just bring a healer to keep yourself alive... This one is for Flamestrike, but if you understand the layout of the macro you can see how to change the spell easily.

Whats the best thing to cast when you are at like 93 magery? Is it still Flamestrike?

I'm at 96.3 magery from casting flamestrike. I am currently macroing.

I gm'd magery on three chars just casting flamestrike. cheapest/fastest way to gm imo, especially if also training resist, which you should be on at least one char.
