Entry Exam

Post by Jupiter »

All persons interested in the BPD apprentice program must complete the following exam. This is pass/fail. If you fail you will be shamefully berated and then called a 'newb' among other really mean explicatives. You must wait exactly 30 UO days before retaking the exam! (ok, the penalties are in jest, but the exam is required). To complete the exam please answer the following questions and send them to Jupiter in a PM. Do not post a reply on the guild form. Please send a PM only. Exam responses left on the guild forum will be ignored.

On a scale of 1-10 rate yourself on PvP:

Do you know how to identify a member of the thieves guild (i.e. somebody who can actually steal from blues)?

What is 'perma grey' status is and how long does it last?

Do you know how to identify a thief is currently in perma grey status?

Name at least 3 ways to protect your items from theft while you are fighting a thief
1.
2.
3.

Name at least 3 tactics that thieves do try and bait you to get guard wacked:
1.
2.
3.

Name at least 3 ways that blue players will try to kill you in town (i.e. town killing)
1.
2.
3.

Do you agree to be a law abiding citizen while in the land as your officer?

If you have any 'nefarious' alter egos do you agree to keep them separate from your officer at all times?

Do you agree to rise above the dirty comments and berating that you will inevitably receive (FYI: most of the player base on this shard are either stuck at a 14 year old pre-pubescent mentality or they role play such with fierce dedication). This means that if you are addressed with such comments you will either ignore them, or respond to them with class and tact.
