The only reference you need is the one where Derrick said they would never break. He is a man of his word and they will never break. Get over it already!

rob forgot ," read here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26471
" All previously blessed clothing is grandfathered for now as non-destroyable.
This effectively corrects a broken mechanic without violation of many previous statements both public and private by the administration that blessed items cannot be destroyed. I don't expect that this will end the debate on the destroy-ability of these grandfathered items, but this change is offered for now as at least a first step in correcting this previously inaccurate mechanic."
Time for step 2 in my opinion let them take damage."

Bump!
Discussing this earlier with some companions, we came up with the following two suggestions:
1. Reset all blessed items to 100% durability, this allows players a head start on whether to continue PVPing with blessed gear, layering up with armor, or only wearing the gear when not in combat.
2. Refund the cost of the clothing bless deed and special hue in silver based on silver system rewards

I lost a pair of blessed blacks in the day to a macer in t2a.
Would be nice to see that back here.

Sounds like you guys have too much time on your hands if you are sitting around discussing things that you know will never happen...
Maybe you should use your time more constructively, like to grief Vega for example...
Re: Blessed Items should break from damage REDUX!
We've discussed quite a few things in the past which were heavily debated and still made it into the game, I don't see how this topic is any different. Its an inaccurate feature and no amount of wishes, rants, threats or broken promises will change that.Robbbb wrote:Hicha wrote:Bump!

Im sorry if this directly affects you, but the proof is there and this needs to be corrected. However insignificant you feel it may be, its still inaccurate.

Actually Derrick did say that they would never break. That is a fact. When the silver system came about it was asked about cbd's and items breaking, they were told that the items will never break. So I wasn't stating an opinion...unless you were talking about how I said Derrick was a man of his word, then I apologize for the confusion...

Re: Blessed Items should break from damage REDUX!
I'd love to see them break, if not just for pure comedic value.
Re: Blessed Items should break from damage REDUX!
Derrick also said at one point that they wouldn't cancel automated events. If you're going to do era accuracy, then do it. Cancel the silver system and gf blessed items.
