Alchemists *Emote*
Does anyone else remember the Alchemy message actually being *emoted* rather than just text displayed over your head?
I remember *grinding nightshade in a mortar and pestle* and im almost positive it was in dark red emotes
I believe for you personally it said something like, *you grind nightshade with a mortar and pestle*
But from another person view it would say *Tabitha grinds nightshade in a mortar and pestle*
i.e.

This is how it looks now:
*Edit*
*I also noticed I could see her *grinding* through the walls in my house. Shouldn't there be an LOS?*

Re: Alchemists *Emote*
Yea I agree, needs to be changed since emotes show an action.
Re: Alchemists *Emote*

Re: Alchemists *Emote*
That is only because you are gaining skills at a less than efficient rate. When you fight a hireling, they gain wrestle/swords/fence/mace at the same rate that you do, hence you are properly challenging the weapons skill. When you just attack other things that may or may not be at the proper skill level to promote gains you very well may GM tactics first. But only slightly, as there seems to be something with tactics requiring you to be using a weapons skill around the same skill level as tactics. Both of these things are non-accurate.rouss wrote:if you dont train on hireling you gm tactics first here as wellHemperor wrote:He gmed tactics first
You always gained GM tactics before your weapon skill in T2A if you trained them both at the same time.
There should be no weapon-skill requirements on tactics. It should be based on the frequency, or number of hits. Obviously a weapon skill will HELP (because you have to hit), but there should be no limit.
Re: Alchemists *Emote*
well, number of hits is directly based on your current weapon skill/weapon speed isnt it? the more you have, the more chance to hit you get. I'd rather think tactics had less "difficulty" set than any weapon skill. should be verifiable in demo configs.MatronDeWinter wrote: There should be no weapon-skill requirements on tactics.
