Can't get circle of transparency to work?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

In options, I have "use circle of transparency" checkmarked.

I have the "set radius of transparency circle" slider moved over as well.

But no matter where I move the slider, I'm not getting a circle of transparency in game. All buildings / objects remain opaque when I walk behind them.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I do connect using Razor, but didn't see any setting there that would've overrode this.

are you hitting apply then okay? stupid question but it's usually the simple things that ppl overlook

I used a moongate to travel elsewhere and then it started working :p
