Taking away people's RP Forum Accounts and the associated tales only hurts the Story Telling aspect of the game and does nothing to stop a scammer....

If Razor is "seeing" items in chests nearby, you can always close the client and razor and start it back up again and just not open those containers. Sometimes this will fix these issues.
