Re: Archer Mages and PVP

Bows can't be cycled with wrestling. That's why you don't see many archer mages around.

Re: Housing : Discouraging turn off...

I own a couple of the smalls closest to Mt. Kendall/Minoc that I'd be happy to let you have for deed price. Just let me know if you're interested. If your set on placing your own take a walk around the Windmere coast. I know there are always plenty of spots open there. I think there are two small sp...

Re: Losing Fame/Rep from excessive drinking

I fail to see how excessive drinking would make anyone less famous anyway. I mean, one look at the Rolling Stones and you can see how realistic this idea really is. I encourage you to begin the UOSA Temperance Movement, though.

A newbie dexxer at the graveyard can farm faster than a scribe. The benifit of crafting is that you can just set a macro and forget about it while you play another character or just go AFK.

Re: Cant trust the $C$

Hmm. . . I was annoyed by these tames earlier but that's before I realized they had appropriate sentence structure. Thanks for pointing that out Light Shade. Now, if the tamer could line em up straighter that'd be nice.

Re: Chesapeake Players

Everyone remembers Chupacabra. Probably one of the best all-time PKs in UO history.

If I'm not not mistaken we've recently picked up another old J-D player here on UOSA, but I won't name names.

You should be flattered. Nobody memorializes me in their sig. . . And twice, no less! At least you get something for getting picked on by those mean old DG bullies.

Re: Planning out a Pure Dexxer template advise please.

Drop parry for GM magery. A dexxer without GM magery is not going to compete with tank mages. I think what he meant by "pure" dexxer was no magery. If so wrestling should prolly get dropped but there are other useful skills besides archery and hiding. While my dexxer does have magery, I l...

I liked the RoT skill gain. I GM'd everything through actually playing the game and I think that's what makes my memories of Siege Perilous so fond.

Re: if only :D

Population levels kept dungeons pretty safe on Siege. I don't remember seeing too many PKs in dungeons unless I followed them there but my playstyle in those days may bias my opinion. Really, having no recall at all is what made Siege better. You just couldn't rely on gate travel getting you out of ...

Re: The ways of the warrior, as experienced by Sturm

Honestly, one of the best things would be to have a stealth mage to cast heals/buffs and nerfs on the enemies. Buffs?? nerfs?? What are those? Buffs: Reactive armor, agility, protection, strength, cunning, bless, arch protection, magic reflection and nightsight. Nerf (or Debuffs): Clumsy, feeblemin...

Re: Questions about Guards

You were probably flagged as an aggressor to the person that killed you making his actions perfectly legal. Also, as silly as it sounds, make sure you spell "guards" correctly. Welcome to the server, though.
