Re: logging on and was red
I'm almost sure that I had no kills on that character before so I think getting 5 after logging off was highly unlikely. Oh well.

logging on and was red
I hadn't logged onto my account for a while and I logged onto my main and was immediately guard whacked. I had logged off in the tavern in Skara Brae, obviously not red or else I wouldn't have gotten there, and when I logged in I was red. What gives?

Re: wtf is this? magic protection in town?
Catskills, COP, yes. Me and some allied guild showed up at their tower once and had a 6 v. 15 or so and I don't think any of us died. Weren't the leaders mfred and nfred? On the topic I remember for sure during some of t2a there was town magic damage and it was taken out at some point. I got the gam...

newbie treasure map question (can't mine there?)
I haven't done treasure maps for a while, maybe even since OSI t2a, and am confused. I figured it would be easy for a level one, I had my fisherman who fished it up decode it (for which he required almost no cartography). I could plainly see the spot was for the West coast of Buccaneer's Den. I grab...

stat loss/gain glitch?
I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen. I had some amount of int, let's say 45, and some amount of dex, let's say 35 (point is I wasn't at stat cap of 225). I was gonna macro hiding for dex so I set the int stat arrow down so that once I did hit the stat cap the dex wouldn't stop gaining. Instea...

Re: packetloss? intermittent lag
Thanks for looking into it. I thought I remembered Ryan from Divinity doing some kind of rerouting for people, not sure how that worked though. Maybe asking providers along the way to reroute?

Re: packetloss? intermittent lag
I'll have to wire it sometime in the future, it's not really an option right now. But thanks I'll give it a try when I'm doing a wiring project.

Re: packetloss? intermittent lag
Sorry this took so long I haven't played for weeks. I don't have particular times when there is lag, it usually hits me for only a few seconds, so I don't know if I can grab a tracert when it's happening. Here is one in which I don't believe I experienced the lag. Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2...

packetloss? intermittent lag
When I type "-ping" I usually get a good response, usually in the 20ms to 50 ms range. However periodically while I'm playing, it seems to come at regular intervals, I get hit with some lag. I'll freeze up for a second or two, and if I hit "-ping" at those times it can get well i...
