That's the Minax (faction) base. Added in later I guess.

It'd be silly to make such a drastic switch in swing mechanics to something known to be entirely inaccurate. Let them focus on what's important and that's getting it right the first time (or something like that), not messing around in between.

Just always adjust your "if mana < xx" to match what Faust said. It goes up pretty quickly although it might be tricky for your situation now.
