Re: Training Archery

I just hit 95 archery off of blade spirits, but my gains really slowed down. It took me near 1k arrows to get 0.6 archery gains off of a blade spirit. Any ideas that might prevent me from gaining?

Re: Training Archery

I just started with the blade spirits, and I am noticing its seems kinda slow. After casting 4 or 5 spirits, i have only gained 0.9. Does that sound really slow?

So gains will be roughly the same if I use a paladin or a blade spirit? I would just have to heal the paladin like crazy then?

Re: Training Archery

I guess my last question is, is the difference between gaining on a polar bear/blade spirits significantly better than a paladin?

Re: Training Archery

I am starting at 30 archery skill. I wouldnt like to use up all of the arrows, because I was hoping that the 10k would fund 2 archers. Do tactics usually GM along with archery pretty fast?

Re: Training Archery

Hrm... I dont mind the blade spirits idea. I am just wondering if anyone has GMed archery recently, and how many arrows it took them. I have 10k arrows ready to go, but I was hoping I wouldnt have to use them all =\

Training Archery

I have been looking through the forums, and I have found a lot of ways to GM archery. Some say it takes 5k arrows to gm, some say it takes 15k arrows to gm.

I was wondering, whats the cheapest way to GM archery (arrow wise). What should I be attacking?

Re: Mage ideas

I am still working the character up, and I was thinking about adding parrying. I decided to keep with pure healing though because if I dropped anat, my heals would do much less. But if I dropped eval, my spells would do a lot less, all at the trade of every once in a while taking less damage. I made...

Stat loss questions

I was wondering exactly how it works. I know that when you have over 5 short term kills it will hurt your stats when you res. But how much does it hurt? If its just a dip in dex/int/str thats not bad.

Re: Mage ideas

Rethinking it, i will probably keep healing. I mean, at the start of the match someone will attack me, then i can put on a bandage. If i can keep up with damage, i will heal myself, if not, ill use a heal spell, and then heal even more. I dont see a loss here haha

Re: Mage ideas

Hrm. Alright. Well I will be online in a bit, but I am kindove feeling the swords and tactics now. The fastest gains are training against a pally, and have a healer on him, right?

Re: Mage ideas

Good point, it might be a bit better for pvm. I have played with a heal mage before, and he just felt a lot more defensive.

If i cant find a good balance with that, i might just go back to Swords and Tactics so i can get a nice meaty hit off with a hally

How do i get on test?
