Hmm, if that's the case then fair enough.
It strikes me though that UO got more carebear as it went on; so why did they introduce further dex loss for armour post-trammel?

Dex Loss - Not Plate Only?
Hey folks, I remember back in this era on Europa, that dex loss affected a lot more than just platemail. I know it definitely applied to chainmail and ringmail, and helmets too; not sure about leather/studded though. I remember making a good suit out of lots of armour types that maintained high AR b...

I loved the stone towers, the stone workshops, and also the villa; with the red flag patio and the balcony overlooking it - But it's beyond the period of this server and I think we need to STAY era accurate.

Re: I'm now seriously considering going back to play on OSI
To the sane who jumped ship soon after/long before Trammel... Those neon white deeds are skill/stat increasing scrolls; they allowed characters to raise skills to 105, 110, 115, or 120, depending on the scroll; or their status by 5, 10, 15, 20, or +25 stat cap. When they first came into play on the ...

I'm not filtering profanity so that I can't ordinary words like massive, grape.

Re: Archery
I think its because you are using another character to train on. That doesn't really yield any gains. Yup that's the one - Was surprised no one suggested this earlier. Sparring is a very ineffective way to gain skill, don't quote me but I think I read sparring is only 1/4 (25%) effective for skill ...

they want a clean atmosphere that all players can enjoy. Exactly. Why are the 'nay sayers' so pro-racist comments anyway? Whether you harbour racist thoughts or not other than running up and down screaming racist terms; is it necessary to your enjoyment of this shard? Do you feel completely inept t...

i dont see the big deal honestly. if you are getting upset over something someone says to you in a video game, then you need to go back to the real world for a while. you are losing touch with reality if you think profane remarks in a video game in any way reflect real world society. Don't over-dra...

Re: Are you "cheap"?
I always loot gems and scrolls; I have every single scroll except for a few like Recall along with every gem in my Sell Agent. 30-45g per scroll adds up really fast, and Sell Agent makes it super easy to dump them. Saved me the post. Exact same for me. Off of a level 4 treasure chest, the scrolls t...

It's interesting to see who is against racism and who is not. Then you notice the way they talk in IRC, forums and then you understand why... lol. Drop the racist attitudes ffs. It's embarrassing to both you and UOSA. Being racist is as cool as beating up your mom. Have some respect for yourself, p...
