0 mining/carto for L1 - 100% the case and was the case back in the day, too.

Re: Guide : Blacksmithy Guide
as an aside, I alternated between plate gloves and long spears from 93 to 99, then did breastplates from 99-100 just because I wanted to get it done. I don't know if that's the most efficient path, but the guide I posted, at least until 93, I can say was quite efficient.

Re: Moonglow Estates - New Player Housing [2/5 Vacancies]
I'm a new player on the shard and I could use a small house for things. Although, I have a question. Can I opt out of the key ring on the door step and just have a key to lock the door? I'm not fond of the idea of anyone being able to use the key ring to unlock the door and walk in. only co-owners ...

Re: Thief template?
well you get the passive benefit of effective healing/curing which could be huge when escaping. If you really want to ditch gm magery, go with 70 and then take 30 tracking.

I forgot about the whole issue with characters being revealed from stealth when pushing you out of the way. I guess the more security the better.

if you can afford it and your goal is more stealth and steal-and-run, then I recommend the template I posted.

Re: Character Selection Screen
I reckon the same person hacking your account to use your wand charges is also logging out on random characters as part of their elaborate griefing plot.

Re: Reasons not to play UO drunk
sucks, dawg... as an aside, though, whats the advantage to destroying/placing a trash barrel over just unlocking and relocking a table? I've seen a lot of table walls w/trash barrels and I'm really not sure why. in my tower I run in, close the doors, run back and forth along the tiles to see if I pu...

Re: The all you can do craftman
I'm not sure you would want to do smithing without mining to smelt stuff. you can always transfer between characters to smelt or I guess just vendor stuff but it's very inefficient. I have my alchemist also as a poisoner, so I'd recommend moving that skill off your main crafter. maybe something like...

Re: Thief template?
that template has basically no way to heal. I'm not really sure why you'd go without magery here. I mean even 60 / 70 is cheap enough and of ultimate utility for this class. I would recommend : GM: Stealing Snooping Hiding Stealth Magery Meditation Wrestling if magery is too expensive, you can alway...

Worth GM'ing. I still got "barely" messages @ 93-96ish. nose to the grindstone and finish it and you'll be happier.
