I think much of the PvP problem is a very low PvP population. Back in the day it WAS challenging to kill someone 1 on 1 who knew what they were doing. Field fights and synching to drop people was the standard by which guilds were judged.

No one is asking to disallowed looping macros completely, they are asking to make them less elaborate... You certainly couldn't craft a full spellbook simply by pressing play You absolutely could. UOA macros could go 200 lines long, allowing you to write one out that crafts every spell by hand and ...
