How does the hair dye from an NPC vendor work? I know it affects hair & beard, but does it just change your hair to a random color? Do you know how to transfer the in game macros for individual characters too?

I want to transfer Razor macros and individual in game character macros between my computer and laptop.

I can't find any file that looks like it would do this though.
