Re: Housing: an accurate problem

Runebooks are era accurate: Ok first off, there was no runebooks in t2a. It was after that era and an expansion or two later when they came in. Second, they are and always have been blessed. They were not susposed to be blessed, but due to a bug they were, and OSI descided not to fix it. So my sugge...

Re: Pack Horses Ruined in Patch

I don't think all things should be changed in the name of accuracy, Your playing on the wrong server then, because that's the primary goal of UOSA. So either get over it and adapt or play somewhere else, because no amount of complaining will get it changed. UNLESS of course you can provide evidence...

Re: Ghosting, Free-use, and Curing DP: DERRICK ANSWERS!

Write as many posts as you want trying to rationalize how putting in a known inaccurate mechanic somehow doesn't actually make the shard less accurate. But know this: It's never going to happen. Sorry, this just isn't one of those shards. From the main page, bolding mine: Since inception, the goal, ...

Re: Ghosting, Free-use, and Curing DP: DERRICK ANSWERS!

Deciding how many accounts are allowed and how many you can have logged in at once is a policy decision by staff. Auto teleporting ghosts from dungeons is an inaccurate gameplay mechanic change, and will never be implemented.

It's already been made clear this wont happen with the current server. There's always hope for a UOSA:Siege future server though! :-)

Re: Eliminate ghost cams

Unattended resource gathering isn't allowed anyway :D. Wouldn't Macro mining on 3 accounts fall into this rule? Not if you have the windows resized so you can see all 3 miners - or have multiple monitors. Although this is accurate and could be done in era, I think the main problem is the ...

Re: Era Accuracy: Player Vendors

customization in that patch states you can change the clothing, and the appearance such as the hairstyle, perhaps even the sex of your vendor just by clicking boxes. Here it is through the paperdoll which is in effect for all npcs...you cant customize them only accessorize them which is different. ...

Re: Era Accuracy: Player Vendors

According to those patch notes before Jul14 2000 you could not customize the looks of vendors at all. So that functionality definitely should be removed. As for the item/weight limit, that's still unresolved... I should point out our own wiki says: "A Vendors backpack has the same weight and it...

Re: Question. ATTN: Photoshoppers

After careful consideration, I have arrived at a winner. Each of these was surprisingly good. Every image was equally good with regard to the left hand side of the image, but the right hand side determined the winner (though none was perfect here.) The winner is MR MANPANTIES. (WTF is with that nam...

Re: Where is the music? :S

I installed UO from my renaissance CD then patched up to the recommended version and my music is working. But I checked my old UO directory that was an install using the files from this site and it's missing the music directory. Here is a ZIP file with my music files, extract it to your UO directory...

Re: Where is the music? :S

Did you check that it's turned on in the options screen?

The music should be in a "music" subfolder of your main UO directory, make sure there are music files in it.
