oh well I made myself on jhelom graveyard, starting on killing zombies and skeletons with Fireball(black pearl only) and re-stock reagents everytime, was able to save money and stuff (be sure to raise your eval int first :lol: ) and eventually a liche pops out, remember you can cast on the other sid...

wow dude, I started with 100 gold like you and now i can provide myself 100+ regs of each everytime I kill and got over 50k now, its just patience... if you have to mine, mine, if you have to kill birds and dogs and sell hides.. and stuff... thats how this era was.. hard as hell, thats why it is awe...

i filled my spellbok killing normal liches, now they dont drop level 8 circle scrolls tho, but to the time you are able to cast that you will be powerful enough to go to the lord ones, killing magic casters creatures ( orc mages, etc) drop scrolls too.

Weren't red until Trammel came out ... Differen't colored gates came out with moonstones first, then when you were allowed to recall and gate between fel/trammel, the gate colors changed.
