Re: Question about a few in game mechanics
I would love for there to be some way to improperly place a house. One of my favorite vendor houses on Pacific was right next to East Brit Bank, that and peoples houses near the Brit mines on those wheat fields. https://web.archive.org/web/20010714090714/http://home.earthlink.net/~grueslayer/locatio...

Re: Ultima Online T2A Art for UOSA Client
I have some more stuff to add to this when I get access to my modified client. I went and modified some of the gumps and the login screen as well.

Re: Portable Forge
The program was uoextreme. Also a fun note on that Occolo fireplace, it would highlight when the cursor was over it. There was a fun glitch to where you could click and drag the fireplace over and over until finally your client glitched and you could see behind it. They fixed that and so people used...

Re: Ultima Online Second Age Client Patch
If you have anything I can integrate I'd be happy to code wise. I didn't touch the login screen yet as I didn't have any reference and I thought the real T2A login screen was the chest and remaking that would be a royal pain though not impossible. All the image data seems to still be in the muls so...

Re: Ultima Online Second Age Client Patch
I tried to take this up awhile back but like most things got swamped with life. I got a few things to work but I have not got back into actually making the gumps that I changed operate correctly. Like the mailbag opening chat etc.

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
Here is the GIT repository of all patch versions of the UO client. It's what I used to edit the art in my client.

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
I might still have all my old 51a Sphere data lying around on my network stores at home. I'll take a peak later. That would be amazing. I do know there is a way to get RunUo to work with the client, but I would rather do something that I know will work which is the 51a sphere server. If anyone happ...

Re: Meandering Vendors and Delucia Bank
I did that on OSI. Never got in any sort of trouble for it either. Also killing the banker or the vendor at a Mage shop was some people's favorite past time.

Re: Meandering Vendors and Delucia Bank
Ever since the distance patches for vendors it's almost impossible to bank outside in Delucia unless you are on the right side of the building. I honestly never remember this in any era and other banks aren't affected as severely. Unless they are just sitting in the back of the bank whenever I go t...

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
You can load all these into the current client using a program call mulpatcher. I just haven't wanted to take the time to do it yet. Correct. It's easy enough to add them in. Making the shortcuts work on the paperdoll is a different matter which hopefully will not prove to be to difficult. I am try...

Here is a small update. I have been messing around with the gumps trying to see what I can import easily into the current client.

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
Do we have a compiled screenshot archive? I can find stuff scattered around, some with dates and some without. It would be awesome to have a site that had those. I thought Marquee Dragon had them at some point but it seems to be a entirely different site now.

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
Light Shade you're my hero. For anyone wanting to mess around. You can patch a client using the SVN repository my friend Mantis created, http://www.joinuo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=647 to whichever patch number you like. I cannot remember the patch closest to April 2000 at the moment. I pl...

Re: Client Gumps & Artwork Fixes
Also there is a T2A freeserver which I am not sure that I can link to that uses the old map, "The map we are using is the exact same throughout Pre-T2A, T2A, UO:R, LBR, and AOS. EA modified the map significantly after AOS which effects Pre-T2A gameplay. Modifications such as Magincia, hedge maz...
