Re: L-Shape Drop This Saturday! Brought to you by ABC!

Dude, newbies are newbies, but they know how to read. They also can scroll posts. Not my fault if they don't, or if people spam. Enough I'm bothering myself caring about the health of this person I don't even know. No more "spam" from my side now, sorry. You know what I think about this s...

Re: Razor game size issues anyone?

When I said UO file editing, I mean you need to edit art and map files quite a lot. Using the UOSA map files will help with most of the errors, the rest need to be fixed with an art editing program (UOfiddler) and a world builder. I tried that a bit... and I think I'm gonna stay with it as it is......

Re: Razor game size issues anyone?

I was unnable to make it work with any 7.0 versions since the whole world was just fucked up (either it crashed at a certain point, bald naked people everywhere, crazy colors even without touching the hue files, etc), I did a lot of client combinations between them trying to find a decent "hybr...

Re: L-Shape Drop This Saturday! Brought to you by ABC!

The last one was a bit frustrating because of pk's ending up slaughtering me (and many others), stealing me the early access robe etc. Altho I know that's part of the game mechanics and that I'm in UO for that and that I appreciate the intention, Idk if that helps real noobs, all I know is that I l...

Re: Razor game size issues anyone?

This is a problem with older clients such as the UOSA default client. If you have a bit of know how with editing UO files I recommend downloading a newer version of UO. Earliest version is 7.0.7.1 for the large screen fix. I'll try that out, and... I just noticed I posted this at the The Crossroads...

Razor game size issues anyone?

I just started testing out the game size thingy in Razor, at first I was impresed on how well it worked but (check pic bellow) sometimes it draws some odd black triangles/lines whatever you want to call them, this only happens if I make the toon run either to the left or right side of the screen. ht...

Re: UO top 100

I went to check out where we stand in the UO top 100. I was very surprised to see we weren't in the top 50. Instead some "other" server espousing our values, same period, etc is in the top 5. is there any way we can reverse that trend? Are those two top 100 sights essentially paid adverti...

Re: UO Midi "revamp"

Your Moonglow version takes a while to end, in my opinion, but that's loyal to the original. Also, the volume is low in the variations. You really have to put on headphones to hear all of it. If increasing it on your end would degrade the sound, I'd say leave as is. Ah yeah, the volume... if you li...

Re: Has anyone ever just played, no macroing

When I first created taboo, my brother and I were uo gold poor so there was a lot of graveyard time and fizzles on gating followed by the satisfaction of things like you can gate regularly. In that time, roadkill helped me gm resist. I had to field a lot of magery skill to get the gold it took to f...

UO Midi "revamp"

This is a little thing that I started doing yesterday for my personal enjoyment, the idea is to revamp the midis and give them a more medieval-instrumental sound (if tha makes any sense....). Altho the originals are already perfect in my opinion I just wanted to do this and have an alternative clien...

Re: Has anyone ever just played, no macroing

I plan to do that at least with a few characters, just because of having the nostalgia mode *on*. That said, if you do it, do it for fun not to handicap yourself. Also, there are some very boring & tedious skills to train, and I'd really recommend macroing for those because the timesink is way ...
