Re: Yew orc fort: a count-free warzone

This is a great idea. The guild I was a member of back in the day on Catskills had so much fun doing RP events and battles with Shadowclan. I also had a Shadowclan Orc 'Grubgut' and it was great fun. I remember studying the speech and lore for my membership test. Yub Yub! Me lub dat Lusk-R! Har! -BA

New Crafter - Starting Skills?

Ok, I am going to start a crafting character and I am curious on which skills I should pump my starting points into? I already have miner and a lumberjack for resources so I don't need to worry about those. I forget which skills are hardest to raise so I would like to put as many points into a coupl...

Re: Old UO player considering retun

Liffy, give it a try and I am sure you will not be disappointed. If you have a significant other that likes to spend time with you, THEY might be disappointed. I too was an old school original UO player who decided to give UOSA a try and I LOVE it. The only bad thing is I want to try and do everythi...

Re: Fishing Crew Wanted or Wanting to train under a fishing

I remember using the 8x8 back in the day but I too cannot find anything so far. I used to love the Fishing Council of Britannia FCB website but it appears that they don't maintain any of the 'classic' information. I did find mention of a 4x4 method listed at the bottom of this page UO Guide.

Re: Broken Hatchets!

Hi Fooka, yeah I am assuming it was just because of my skill that I had to use the hatchets twice as long to get the same log count. I just didn't remember going through them so fast back in the day. Orion was a HUGE help, he met me at the Vesper bank and dropped a bag of hatchets on my head! Thank ...

Hi Faber and thanks for the offer. Are there still plenty of open space for small homes?

Broken Hatchets!

GAH! I am going through hatchets like they are going out of style. Thankfully a kind soul 'Crystalis' (I hope I got that right) tinkered me up a bunch. I don't remember going through so many tools before. Is it based on my Lumberhacking skill? Am I swinging wrong? It is too cold? :) Just wondering w...

Re: Just a quick hello and thanks!

Hi Scienter, GOL's guild tower was near Trinsic and we spent a lot of time in Serpent's Hold as a gathering spot. I don't remember KOP off the top of my head, what did it stand for? I appreciate the offer of the house but I am hoping to be able to purchase a deed and place one for myself (I'm kinda ...

You should be aware that we don't have small towers here though, they were a UO:R building (also one of my favourite houses :( ).
DOH! That's right. Oh well, then a small house by the shore will have to do at some point. :)

Thanks for the welcome.
