The best way to make it secure would be to place the item on a player run vendor besides that I think you would have to trust the person somewhat. Handing smaller amounts of gold first then the item.

You make potion macros for when you are in battle? I set my potions to hot keys no macros for fighting. F1 to toggle razor on and off.
