Re: Do boats have item decay?
Item Decay on Boats We will be activating decay for items left on the deck of a boat. These items will decay at the same rate as items left on the ground outside. Only items left on the deck of a boat will decay, items in the hold of a boat will not be subject to decay. This is from the famous prec...

Re: Make Fishing Valuable!
Fishing is great as far as risk vs reward goes.
I would just like it spiced up (Hint: fishing nets make great house decorations)

Re: New Event ideas - I'm delirious
Those are pretty neat. I especially like the Russian roulette, as it can be implemented as a skill-less game yet is still kind of exciting. Yeah, they do look like some work too, but I'll be stuck indoors in the cold northeast all winter so it'll be good to have something to do. Oh god, don't remin...

Re: Possible Addition to the Events List
Actucally, I love the 3rd idea.
It could be expanded to be a very unique and rewarding event, perhaps for other archtypes as well.

Re: Mining
The ore, and any other resource for that matter, is determined in an 8x8 resource grid. The same grid people would use for skill gains. As for how many hits you get out of it, I believe it has to do with how long it's been since last mined (not too sure). Also, when you dig and fail to pull ore from...

Re: Lockpicking + Cartography via Razor
Yeah, I wasn't sure if there was the 'multi target' coding in place, but it seems that it's not. On another note, it seems that Razor has trouble identifying the difference between a 'blank map' (which they explicitly specify in their macro), and a drawn map (this includes treasure maps!). This caus...

Top of castles/keeps
I can't recall, but what method was used to get to the top of the towers in castles/keeps? Being able to 'bug' my way up there or otherwise is going to be the main difference between getting a tower or a keep (don't like castles). I think it may have somthing to do with the use of the old 'target a ...

Re: Buying items/gold
Lets keep in mind that they don't get paid for this either.
Perhaps a specific rare for a $20/whatever donation would be worth it. Nothing currently on the trophy rare list, but nothing too special.
I'm sure there's bandwidth to pay, etc.

Re: Land survey Tool
The land survey tool was a January 2000 addition, a few months before UOR. The new housing was an addition that came with the UOR release. We may end up adding these things in, but for now, it's likely to be a backburner issue. Don't add land tools, this totally defeats the purpose of house deeds n...

Lockpicking + Cartography via Razor
Due to the nature of lockpicking being a Item based skill, and cart being a 'use skill' based skill I figured i'd try my hand at combining them, in a semi-attended (watching TV) macro. Just for kicks, i'm going to give the disclaimer that i'm assuming you've made at least a basic macro before. Let m...

Re: Trophy Inflation
Regardless, you have already obtained X rares in the amount of time you have played, Y. If the current high ends are bumped up significantly, there is no way a new person could obtain the same X rares given the same Y playtime, giving you an unfair time advantage. Traditionally OSI left what was in ...
