Re: New player question regarding PK-ing
Big reply That was all sensible talk. Thanks for the discussion. It sounds like a great idea, but I have no clue how to check my ping or packet loss (unless I'm just suppoed to ping uosecondage.com). Download uotrace.exe, it's a really small program that lets you ping different servers with a singl...

Re: Armor question
All types of armor take durability damage when you use them in combat, and thus their armor rating drops. Bone Armor though, while offering very good protection at no dexterity loss, has particularly low durability or "hit points" so to speak, that's why it falls apart so quickly.

Re: Where is the bank in the Cove????
There is no bank in Cove. At least in this era there isn't. As far as I know they did add a bank later on though.

Re: New player question regarding PK-ing
My experiences differ vastly from yours. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say in another thread that you never use mounts? That alone leaves you at a severe disadvantage. My PK escape rate is at about 90% I would say and that includes my very early days when I would even fizzle recall someti...

Re: New player question regarding PK-ing
In my experience here, you'll almost always get attacked by two or three reds at once. Generally two mages, one dexer. Even with magic reflect up this leaves you almost no hope if you're out in the open when they approach. ! My experiences differ vastly from yours. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn...

Re: Reducing lag and ping with UOSA (And other Online Game)
Jesus..... I think I fixed it. What I did is I uninstalled the program, then manually edited my registry and restarted my PC. After that my ping went back to normal. Needless to say I deleted every trace of this "latency fix" from my computer... Damn thing cost me 2hours of my life. Anyone...

Re: Reducing lag and ping with UOSA (And other Online Game)
Occasionally the net just does that to you... wait a while and see if it fixes itself. I have had times when my ping was real bad compared to normal for a day or so. Also, please don't drop the f-bomb all over the place like that (in fact, you should edit it out before the board admin does). Certai...

Re: Reducing lag and ping with UOSA (And other Online Game)
I just tested this and it actually made my ping worse . Testing my ping to login.uosecondage.com or uosecondage.com I always used to get an extremely stable ping between 117 and 119 ms. After installing the program and restarting my PC it went up to ~125ms with a small spike of 139ms. Even after uni...

Another Quick Razor Question
When I start Razor, it doesn't show the window to select which login server to use, etc. anymore. Is there some way I can get that back without reinstalling the program? I don't even know when and why it ceased to appear on startup in the first place... O.O

Re: Razor profiles
Well, in that case I guess I can just make different macros and name them according to each character while still having the same hotkey for the same function. I can live with that.
Thx =)

Razor profiles
Hey there, recenetly I've been experimenting with Razor profiles a bit. However, I can't seem to configure the same macros differently even though they are in different profiles. My "emergency" recall macro for example. I have two different profiles that have this macro(copied the default ...

Those magic weapons really are cheap....
IDed them, arms lored them... everything seems fine.
What's the catch?

Re: 4th way to town kill?
It is not my intention to derail this thread nor do I have a problem with griefers, but I have a question. In all my experience with UO and dozens of other games, I could never fathom the concept of griefing. What I can remotely understand is that people, especially newer players, can be tempted to...
