Re: Off Topic - Looking For Old UO Game Data
Of course, this assumes that the base version of the Classic Client has not already exceeded your desired target dates The base version of the Classic Client is 7.0.24.0 which is way over the versions I want :) Versions of the Classic Client before they decided to change the patch mechanism can't u...

Off Topic - Looking For Old UO Game Data
I have searched a few days for information on how to patch the 2D client to specific versions, but I was unsuccessful. A few years back there was a SVN with all the client files by version: http://svn.twuni.net/uoclient/t2a/tags/by-version/ It doesn't seem to be working anymore. I am looking for two...

And also under the 'Display/Counters' tab untick 'Show this in the UO title bar'
Works for me.
Running Windows 8.1 with no compatibility settings set.

Re: Old Problem Cannot Find Fix (Flickering Full Screen)
If I can remember correctly then it has something to do with Razor trying to update the Window's title bar with the reagent count. Every time this happens in full-screen it flickers.
EDIT: You can switch this off in Razor
Alternatively you can run the normal unencrypted client without Razor.

Re: let us brainstorm-
I don't have an idea of how RunUO currently saves the world state, but this is how I think it should work: Lock Clone the World object(s) and spawn a new thread that only works off that cloned World for saving Unlock If the cloning happens fast then people can still continue playing without them kno...

Client Music - Higher Quality
Hi all,
The quality of the MP3s included in the current UOSA client sound very annoying to me so I have created higher quality MP3s from the Ultima Online MIDI files using various soundbanks:
The password for the archive is: uosa
Let me know what you guys think.

Re: A programme to ensure we are all playing the same game.
While it is a dream of mine to force people to just play the actual game...I don't think it is going to happen. Most people will just use instant messaging when they need to chat with somebody if they can't find somebody ingame. Guild chat already destroyed the communication in a way. Communication ...

Re: PK proof your Taming/Farming Experience
Yes, automated programs destroy the game; it is true. This is an undeniable truth, because the game was not conceived with such programs in mind when it was being dreamed up and thus these programs are little more then foreign species stripping the variety and soul out of whats left of UO: The same...

Re: Anyone from Poland?
I am in +/- the same timezone.
Poland = UTC + 1 hour + 1 hour for daylight savings. So that is UTC + 2 hours.
South Africa = UTC + 2 hours
,but I only play when I have time so you can't really rely on me for anything ingame.

Re: Latency while riding mounts
Not a good idea at all. My average latency to the server is 520ms.
This might create fake lag (and work)for players with ultra low latencies, but would only make it unplayable for people like me.

Nearly every container in town says this. Is this accurate?
It seems very strange.

Re: AFK Rare Gathering Not Era-Accurate
With Razor being legal, the solution would have to come from a mechanic involving picking up/stealing the item on the server side. Maybe something like randomizing the spawn within the sub-region, thus keeping the item spawn in the same general vicinity & requiring more "hands-on" sea...

Re: Dark nights is *no joke*
Or maybe I ticked it once while playing with the settings. Not really sure. Why does Razor come with it pre-ticked?(I think mine was). This is bad for new players as they would never of known about darker nights in the first place.

Re: Dark nights is *no joke*
The only other way to let people still use Night Sight and torches is to give them a slight (non era accurate) benefit while using them. And in the process they might not see the need for the hack anymore because they will be using Night Sight anyway. I know this will never happen, because we are st...
