Re: Will you leave UOSA if the hally mage is nerfed?
so, I'm thinking about doing something on this shard other than logging on every week to refresh my house.
this thread's not making me want to do that. what's this patch supposedly gonna do, make the pvp here just like it was during uo:r? man that was some boring ass shit, UO pvp without insta hit.

windows 7 and install from secondary hard drive
hey, I'm having trouble getting UO to work right after installing windows 7 and a new hard drive a few months back. I had backed up all my files on my old hard drive, including the razor and second age install files. When I installed the second age client with the patch on my new hard drive, I think...

desktop settings backup problem
I'm reinstalling the game on windows 7 after upgrading from XP. I saved my desktop folder before doing the switch and loading it into my new uo folder worked to put all my settings, macros and spell icons back where they're supposed to go. Only problem is on one character, those settings have been w...

Re: Updated : How to GM Alchemy/Poisoning effectively.
Thanks for this. I took off all the cure pot stuff and am using a healbot, everything works great except with the double click mortar by type, 4/5 attempts says "You stop mixing and empty the mortar." It doesn't use any nightshade, but it's just taking a long time to max out the green poti...

Re: Snakes......I hate snakes.......
You cant tame silver serps, but I can tell you how to get one. You need a provoker, a tamer, and one or two healers. You also need two boats. The tamer sets up tamed animals for bait leading to the ship. The provoker provokes the serpent upon the animals like connecting the dots all the way to the ...

Re: Guide : Housing
I haven't been paying attention the last six months or so, but people in IRC say this has changed. Knowing to never trust anything said in IRC at face value, I present the question here.House deeds are not blessed and may be stolen from you by a thief or looted from your corpse if you die.

Re: Patch 108 - July, 20, 2009
Is that 80 hiding or 80 fishing? That was referring to fishing skill. You pull up sea serpents randomly when failing fishing at 80 fishing skill or higher. Ah.. It does reveal you if you fish up a serpent. Only had 50 hiding yesterday so I figured raising that might be a way around it. Got revealed...

Re: Patch 108 - July, 20, 2009
Is the chance to pull up serpents only on a failure? Is there an increase in the rate of collecting MIBs and Treasure Maps? Can you hide after pulling up a serpent, avoiding the attack altogether? There have been no other changes to fishing and sea serpents, nor any chage to the "pull rate&quo...

Re: Help with fishing
I've fished up a few serpents now, but haven't been looking directly at the computer to see if I could hide right after the thing comes up. I don't really want to keep a second character on the boat at all times, since I've got other chars to work, but so far my fisher has died three or four times f...

Re: Atlantic Shard 1998-2002
I played Baja during t2a, got pissed when precasting was removed and sold my account, but couldn't stay away for long. I started on Atlantic about mid 2000 and played until late 2001 or so. Name was Greed. I ended up joining acid, ran by an old member of Covetous Crew, I believe. Had to duel him to ...

Re: Second Age Shenanigans
It's bastards like this guy that make this game so fun to play. And annoying, as I got killed a few times macroing provoke in the brit stables a year ago, before I finally found a nice isolated hut in minoc. pain in the ass setting that one up though with three chars.
