UO Second Age

So I'm sick of my bard who has zero fighting skills getting murderized.
I go back to fight with an alt and usually get 2 or 3 vs 1'd and die... soo sick of it.
Any good anti guilds that stay fairly busy making life hell for the red gank squads?

How the hell do you manage all this fun??
I wander around with my thief, stealthing through gates and such, only to be detected and killed/banned
find unlocked doors only to have tables locked down blocking the entrance, I've had zero luck with my thief.
