Pricing Check Guide

Post by Pristiq »

So, I have a bunch of random weapons (+5 Hally, Burning, 55 charges; Viking Sword of Force; +15 Black Staff of Might, Feeblemind, 33 charges; etc)

Is there a general guide for helping new vendor owners price their magic weapons and armor? Thanks!

It's something like 1k for each step of tactics/accuracy modifier
(so a +5 is 1k, +10 is 2k and so on)
and like 1k per step in power modifiers
(1k for ruin, 2k for might, 3k for force ect..)

Now, a vanq hally would be 10k, and a +25 hally would be 10k as well using this method, but put those two together and you dont get 20k because the unliklihood of those 2 features being on the same weapon are slim. +25 vanq hally's are selling for 35-40k now. Almost double because of those 2 mods.

This really only applies for desirable weapons, and you can take off about 10% if it's 1 handed.

Scimitar, viking sword, bows, black staves ect, all sell for significantly less.

Durability is probably about 500gp per level,
weapons with charges are probably only 1-2k additions to price unless it's
Lightening or ghouls touch
Those two charge types add on alot of money.

Thats the best idea I can give you, it's probably best to check out the forums and see what they have sold for in the past at auction, and then take 15% off that because people are stupid and overpay.
