REPORTED ISSUE:
Meditation gain is based on Mana and not %Mana.
ISSUE DETAILS:
Meditation gain is currently based on your mana and not the percentage of mana you have. This required individuals to adjust their stats in order to GM the skill, I do not believe this is accurate. I also believe that because the chance to succeed at entering a meditative trance is based on this number (higher mana = easier, lower = harder) it may be adversly effecting characters with less than 100 int by increasing their fail rate even at when mana levels are near their max.
ENVIRONMENT DETAILS:
N/A
STEPS TO RECREATE:
-Attempt to GM the meditation skill without 85+ Int. (Estimate)
-Create characters of identical skill and different Int, measure the success rate of entering a meditative trance at varying mana levels (by percent).
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Meditation success and skill-gain difficulty checks use ((Mana/TotalMana)*100) instead of the running mana count.

Re: Meditation gain is based on Mana and not %Mana.
I found this to be screwy when i first started here.
I recall med being one of the easyer skills to gm back in the day.
sorry i have no evidence to back this up just putting in my two cents.

the wise seek simplicity so that a child can understand
the intelligent seek complexity to confound the wise
to look inwardly leads imagination by the hand
but to look outside yourself
you can only see with both of your eyes
