Lumberjacking
Lumberjacking
idk what it is with me and boards haha but i was farming them just now and realized you can lumberjack while mounted... not sure if this is accurate?
Re: Lumberjacking
I'm pretty sure it is, you could lumberjack and fight at the same time to.
The thing wondering about is whether higher lumberjacking gives a higher yield from a single tree. It might just be me, but I actually think now that my LJ is higher I get more wood per tree then before ?

Re: Lumberjacking
I think lumberjacking works like this..
A tree spawns some resource (logs) of say 50 (these #s are made up)
You hit the tree once, you fail to get anything, now the tree is at 40
You hit the tree again, you get some logs, it is 10 (it's always 10) and the tree is 30
Now, you ca hit the tree 3 more times, if you have 0 lumberjack skill then
you will fail those three times and the tree will be empty.
The higher your skill, the greater chance you wont waste resources by failing.
Which leads to more wood per hour.
Every number there is made up, except for the 10, because I have never lumberjacked more than 10 logs ever. The depletion of resources might vary depending on if you fail or succeed. For instance it might only decrease 2 if you fail, but if you succeed it depletes 10 and you get 10 logs, that is probably more likely.
