Wise has signed over the server to me now, after paying for it for 4 years, I will now take over due to Wise being MIA and generally just too good for us (his opinion) to pop by.

I can now deal with the dozen requests and issues that come through each month. Dead channels will be removed in the coming weeks, new guilds feel free to contact me (or Kaivan, if he's available) for a channel.

Staff will remain the same for now (myself and Kaivan) and all rules still apply. To be banned, you would have to work pretty hard to do so. Currently, I don't think any current UOSA players are banned and it's been like that for well over a year.

Other shard players, spammers, etc. will be dealt with accordingly.

Somewhat useless post, just informing those whom it may concern that I can now act on your requests in vent.

Just want to add a rule here which I assumed would have went without saying:

DOXXING, posting someone's irl picture, "diary", phone information, address ETC.. without their explicit information will result in a permanent ban.

I'm honestly taken aback how often this has now happened in Ventrilo alone and how everytime people play dumb as if this is some sort of issue. It's pretty relaxed in there, talk all the ingame shit you want, but don't get your panties in a bunch and go after someone's private life.

What is DOXXING?

Doxing or Doxxing is the act of identifying a person from one small bit of information such as an email address. The "Doxer" uses this email address to find out phone numbers, address, real name etc of the target. Doxing is "legal" as long as you are only finding publicy available information, it becomes illegal if you stalk the person through online chat services, like facebook or msn, or if you hack into their social accounts, like facebook, twitter, gmail hotmail etc.
