yah if u worded your question correctly but, there is three types of mares.
short mane nightmare : the mane on the horse is short.
long mane nightmare: the mane on the horse is longer than a short.
pure nightmare : the darkest color of mares, very dark black

Ranging from least desirable of short mane to pure nightmare. People just seem to desire long mane more because of how it looks with the longer hair. Usually a 5-10k different from short to long mane, and a pure goes for about 60-75k.
