Font won't change

Anyone know why I can't change my font fully in game?
I have each of the Tooltips & Speech font, and all font options set to one of the clearer fonts in the ingame options.
It's not actually changing the font appearance of spoken text. It does change razor status messages, and the area you actually type in, but the old scraggly font shows up for all spoken text including my own.
