my ping is avg around 100-150. I'm not complaining about my ping because its playable, but I know it could be better as I have a neighbor (not next to me but in the Seattle area) who has played here on uosa and has gotten about 50-70.
I did a tracert:

After seeing this I contact comcast and asked what they could do, they put in a ticket and reset my modem, disable my router (directly plugged into modem now) and had me do a new tracert

After reviewing this I noticed in the original my 17 and 18 hop points timed out, in the newer tracert my 16 and 17 hop points timed out. On my first tracert I had 19 hops, and my second I had 18. Both timed out hops were the 2 prior to meeting uosecondage.com
any thoughts where things are going wrong / how I could improve?
thank you

Not sure what you can do.
I'm playing from Europe and my ping almost equals yours. Average 102ms.

Re: Tracert issues?
yea that seems off. and I'm playing from the outskirts of seattle, I know some one who played from downtown seattle (who had more hops than I) and got 40-70 ping.
Re: Tracert issues?
bad excuse and not really worth much, but you must just have a whole set of bad hardware between you and the backbone.. all the rain drowning your cable lines!

Re: Tracert issues?
Well yes there is not much you can do to change how you get routed to the server other then change isp's . Not sure it will help but at least some good info .
go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/
it has a very simple trace ip feature were you can up in an ip address say the ones that you are having problems with .. find out who owns them and at least call them .. though if they are like my isp .. they hardly care about their customers much less someone who hops though their network.
I really hope this helps ..
