REPORTED ISSUE:
when a npc or a pet or any monster / animal is in a house, if you attack him from outside, it is trying to get to you. thats ok. but the bug is that normally they should be able to open locked doors when trying to reach you. (if nothing block them)
i did this so many time in the old days.

This is correct, if someone left a npc fighter in a house you could lure it to open locked doors.
Has to have hands though, like anything that opens doors.

I belive you're correct, however I'm not sure how to proceed; changing this suddenly would clearly subject many houses to unforeseen (by the owners) vulnerabilities.
I'd also like to be sure of course that this mechanic is correct, 100%, due to the potential ramifications of being wrong on this.
Before fixing this I think we'll need to run an MOTD for at least a week giving players an opportunity to realize the change is coming.
