Also, where you taking damage? (ie. macroing magery/resist?) If this is the case, then it's even easier.

Castles, Keeps, and Towers have the floor tiles that allow LoS to get you. However, there is not a single house type on this server that is safe from LoS. It is the TERRAIN surrounding the house that determines whether you are safe or not.

Center Tile...NOT safe...

For the record...this has been discussed quite a lot...and I am amazed that people still don't understand it at all.

I've got a character there. So far I've found one person who spent 30+ minutes attempting to kill me, and he was unsuccessful.

I got lazy and didn't read it all. :P

I bet the person wasting 30 mins trying to kill you was not standing on the correct spot. I'll be home in about 90minutes, and you probably will be dead in about 100...unless Lightshade beats me to it. HOWEVER, let me know what your IRC nick is so I can PM you and you can save all your stuff.

I'm fairly certain you can do it from a boat using the same relative target that you would use with the tower killing.

To all,

It has been shown to me in game that it is indeed possible to kill someone standing in the 'safe spot' of my home. Thanks to the person for taking the effort, and I will hand over the 20,000 gold coin reward as soon as we are able to meet up in game.

Let's hope LOS poll thread convinces the higher powers to make a move.

I'd rather have safe housing than easy kills.
But that's just me.

The best info we have on this is that, mechanically, it was possible during this Era. Since it is Era Accurate, it will not be changed.

Best thing you can do is learn to play with this mechanic. Whereas I know this mechanic was only known about to a VERY limited number of people in era, it was possible to do in Era, and is therefore an accurate mechanic. My opinion is, and always has been, that this mechanic creates something that never existed in practicality during this era. That, however, does not matter at all. I have argued the LoS topic to death and so have many others. This shard's stated goal is accuracy and its the Mechanical Accuracy that they concern themselves with. If the code allowed this during the Era, then it will be allowed on this shard and its as simple as that.

Bottom Line: Its Era Accurate and will never be changed. Learn to play the game with it.

I tried for like 30 minutes before needing to bail, but I left saying I was certain it was possible! Harder than I expected though.
