no swords gain with skinning knife
Been using a skinning knife and havent gained in swordsmanship at all. I still get gains in tactics though.

My skill is 71, and my opponent is unarmed.

If your opponent is unarmed then he will defend with wrestling. His skill must be enough to chalenge your skill level. If you have no chance of missing him, then you cannot gain combat skill.ecetres wrote:My skill is 71, and my opponent is unarmed.

does that work the same way with tactics? ive been stuck at 99.6 for a pretty good while. the guy im fighting has around 70ish. just curious.

Tactics should have potential for gain whenever you do damage. Make sure your skills aren't capped out.
