Please note this is the third part of a lost (but soon-to-be-rediscovered) series in which [cA] makes (and wins) war on the various Trammel guilds of UOSA.
It began with a scam. Matron De Winter attempted to purchase a new house for [cA]. We intended to use it to establish a home for new players and wayward sheep. But, alas, we did not count on being scammed by one of the most (or at least formerly so) reputable guilds on the shard: [$$$]. We can't say for sure what happened, but our theory is that Tabius saw a chance to scam a house deed and blame it on us. Who would believe us after all? And, thus, the following threads were born:

You know, of course, who won World War II. And if you have played UOSA for more than three seconds, you probably realize it is a good idea not to get on [cA]'s bad side, especially if you're just a large Trammel guild that [cA] already doesn't really like much. Vengeance would be ours.
It came in the form of our former [PoV] infiltrator, applejack. He had been a member in [PoV] who attended most guild functions, and although [PoV] knew they had a spy, they seemed to think it was Shawn (now of [POO] which should tell you something about his ability to be a spy—or even to tie his own shoes). Now he was a member of [$$$], and it wouldn't be long for the PWN came raining down like so many archerbot bolts in the face of a LEET PVPer.
We were patient. We waited for our shot. Eventually, our infiltrator was friended to the [$$$] tower and, after a while, allowed to place two vendors in the [$$$] tent. Those vendors now sell empty spellbooks and other such items. More importantly, we placed several vendors in the doorway of the [$$$]. They are employed for a good long time, making the tower virtually useless. God's own CAPET BOMB. For good measure, we lifted all the bans at the tower, a fact of which -r learned. He came out to observe cA's actions.

Having successfully placed the vendors, there is only one force that can stop us now. I speak, of course, of Derrick and his army Canadian of slaves known as “staff.” Thus, we equipped the tower vendors with books pleading with staff to remain neutral. We also sent out multiple messages to staff via the forums, IRC, and in-game pages. All of these messages read as follows:
At the same time, a PM was sent to both Tabius and Wise with the subject line “Terms of Surrender” and which reads as follows.chumbucket wrote:Dear Derrick and the UOSA Staff:
As you may know, [cA] and [$$$] are at war. This, of course, is not an official war declared via guildstones. That is not [cA]'s method of operation. Our methods are less conventional, which bring me to the point of this missive. [cA] has launched what is most likely the victory-bringing blow. [$$$] has no recourse but to meet our demands, and we believe that only staff has the power to stop us now. However, we also believe that staff policy is not to interfere in game play, and so we would like ask staff to not interfere in any way in the current conflict. Through a long-planned operation, we have placed several vendors in the [$$$] tower. These vendors are named as follow: Ryan, Nardo, Luna, Riordan, Miles, Mathias, AJ, Ramona, Veronica, Lester, Jin, and Reuben. They are placed so as to prevent [$$$] from making convenient use of their beloved tower. We ask that you please not move or remove these vendors. The owner of those vendors, Bob Dobilina, wishes for them to remain. Moreover, we have two vendors in the [$$$] tent. These vendors are named Denby and Carine. These vendors are owned by the same player, and he does not wish these to be removed or moved either.
We, of course, realize that this is not our shard and that staff will ultimately do as it sees fit. We accept that. But we implore you not to change what we believe to be your policy, and to instead respect that this is an in-game matter to be settled among the players in the spirit of UO.

While we cannot say for sure what staff will do, nor what the final outcome will be, we have hired a German movie studio to imagineer our best guess. The following is a movie clip that they have created at our behest.chumbucket wrote:http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=18458
1. $$$ shall make a one-time payment of 500,000 gold to cA.
2. $$$ will immediately end its cA headhunt event. It will make a one-time payment to cA equivalent to all the gold given out during that event.
3. $$$ will publicly retract the claim that Matron de Winter or any member of cA was involved in the infamous Brother Tabius brick house scam or any other scams. This need not include an admission of guilt on Tabius's part.
4. At no point in future will any $$$ member ever retract the retraction of condition 3--not in game, not in IRC, not in the forums.
5. $$$ will make a monthly payment of 50,000 gold to cA in order to maintain the legitimacy of its tent vendors.
6. In exchange cA will cease scam vendor operations at the $$$ tent and remove all unwanted vendors from the $$$ towers.
These terms are non-negotiable.
