paintings and trophys and stuff when placed on the bottom floor of my building are popping up and showing on teh second floor. drivin me nuts. and not much stuff will cover it, makin my life a pain! any way to have this stuf fnot show through the second floor

There isn't, the server only only tells the client where the items are, the client does the graphics rendering. I feel your pain man.

yea but i cant remember a solution from osi days can you? except for putting chests in random spots to block the image comin through the floor

I don't know that they ever solved it. I remember it being this way when I quit shortly after UO:R.

House decoration and customization didn't get really popular until long after T2A, for this reason and others. There's a house customizer flashlet on UO's site that reminds me of nothing so much as The Sims. I guess that's what UO has become these days.

Although the one harmless thing I miss is the house decorating tool. I want to kick my monitor sometimes when I am trying to orient a chair the way I want it.

You arn't joking there.
UO in T2A was about PVP, killing monsters, and having cool stuff.

Starting with Ren (I quit shortly after), they had growable plants, customizable fishtanks, blah blah blah. One thing I really did enjoy was the house creation. Must be the lego architect in me, but I would love if we could do that... even though I know you guys wouldn't go for it since it isn't era accurate.
