REPORTED ISSUE: Dragging an Item to an NPC
ISSUE DETAILS: I found a head in town, picked it up (did not put it in my backpack, held it in my hand/mouse pointer) dropped it on a guard. no bounty. i supposed it would drop in my backpack but it dropped on the original position i picked it up, teleported 2-3 screens away.
ENVIRONMENT DETAILS:
STEPS TO RECREATE: Pick an item up, don't put it in your backpack. Simply drag that item to an npc, if they don't take it, the item drops in the original position where you picked it up. not your backpack as it should.
EXPECTED RESULTS: it should drop in your backpack.

Always been like that.
If you drag it from britain and all the way to Despise and drop it on an npc, it will end up where you picked it up.
Or if you open a gate, pick something up, go through, try to drop it, fail, it ends up back where you picked it up.
