Locked down a roast pig (or French bread) in house, house locked down item +1, double click the food to eat it, but the locked down item count didn't reduce, is this normal or bug? thx

I've always wondered about that, if that would happen because technically you didn't release the item. Same for water barrels that were locked down as "a barrel", then filled with water (becoming "a water barrel", not locked down), drained of water which makes it "a barrel" (also not locked down anymore), and then removable by a player.

I did this to people's empty tubs years ago... =\

I also want to bring up lanterns. I locked down a lanter in my house, turned it "on", and it became unlocked. I turned it back off, and it was still unlocked. Also, I lost a lock down for it. Era-accurate? Bug fix?

I used a table and some items to "raise" the lantern in the corner of a tower, locked it down, turned it on, and removed the tables. The lantern fell. I was confused; normally when you lock things down and remove the table, it stays in place. I think that's true, but it fell 'cause it was no longer locked down.

I cannot replicate the items becoming unlocked. Can you give specific steps to reproduce this?
I tried every combination I could think of, of stacking, releasing and moving items underneath, turning it on and off, etc

Looking into this issue with locked down items which are consumed removing house lockdowns.

Any lockdowns that get tied up this way will be restored after shard restart.

Update: This will be fixed to periodically recalculate lockdowns throughout the day in next publish.

Okay, so before I continue... not the face...

I tried replicating the issue, and it was fine. Then I realized I had done it near a door, and you can't lock down items near the door. This I knew, but thought it locked down anyway (tower door seemed further away).

As for losing the lockdown? I forgot my friend was working on an aquarium on the first floor, so that's why I probably went from 163 to 164 and then not back again - she probably locked down something at the same time.

So, again, I reiterate before the mass beatings: not the face. =[

Thanks for the update.

The consumed food was definately becoming a lost lockdown for the remainder of the day; this was fixed in this mornings patch.

Glad to hear about the lantern; I was a lil stumped on that one :D
