The Clash of the Cuthroat Carpenters!
This contest will begin with all carpenters having a set amount of time to craft as many square tables as possible with the materials provided.
After this initial stage carpenters will take their place in the corners of the event arena.
This game is simple to learn but difficult to master.
It is a turn based game. On a turn a player has only a few options, they are as follows:
1. A player may take one step in any direction.
2. A player may place a table in any empty adjacent tile. (a coloured cloth will be placed on each table to keep track of who placed it)
3. A player can use a hatchet
The game ends when only one player is able to continue placing tables.
The winner of the game is the player who has placed the most tables onto the game board.
There will be extra boards placed randomly in the arena.
If a player picks up a hatchet they have the option to smash one table (either their own or an opponents). This counts as a turn. Hatchets are a one time use only item.
If a player picks up boards they can use them to craft more tables (doesnt need to wait for their turn to craft tables)
Rules:
Players must only move on their turn and must wait for their opponents to take their turn completely.
Once you have placed a table you cannot pick it back up at any point.
You cannot place a table on a tile occupied by an opponent or a table.
You cannot step onto a tile occupied by another player.
To pick up a hatchet you must step directly onto an opposing players starting point and then your own starting point.
To pick up extra boards you must step directly onto the tile that has the boards.
You can only place tables directly adjacent to your player (not a tile away)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The cutthroat carpenters gathered on the rooftop of the recently condemned museum tower!
The rules were explained!
The carpenters began their battles.

Some interesting strategies began to become apparent. Some were well thought out, some ... not so much!

They continued as the board became more claustraphobic until eventually only one remained free to move.

The final battle was one of the funniest. They somhow all managed to get into a stragiht line and box themselvesh aha so good
Congratulations to our champions!
