My understanding has always been that potions do not carry information about the alchemist who made them, and that the effect they have is just the effect that they have, and that higher alchemy skill effects the success chance in making the potion, but not the potion itself.
Can anyone confirm/deny this?
Do potions carry info about the alchemist who made them?

What you are saying sounds about right. Potions won't carry any information once they are created.
