Yes, I have downloaded the fixed speech.mul included here: http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5436
When I buy a pack horse, it does not listen to my commands. "all follow me" "all move", and if I rename it, "NAME follow me" "NAME move" etc do not work. The stable master does not accept a "stable" or "NAME stable" command - the NPC says he doesn't know what I'm talking about. A targetting cursor never comes up. Yes, I have 30 gold, both on me and in the bank.
I have tried closing all my UOs and disabling Razor macros.
I'm running Win7
Halp!
Edit: also, NPC fighters for hire are the same. "NAME hire" and "hire" result in the NPC saying he doesn't know what I'm talking about. If I give him 110 gold anyways, he just takes it and I gain some karma.

It's a Win7 issue. My work PC is Win7, and my Vista box at home has no problems. On Monday I will try to run UO in WinXP compatibility mode to see if that fixes it.

Nice find. Thanks for the update on this. Please let me know if the compatability change does the trick

Unfortunately, it does not. I tried setting compatibility to XP SP3, and I suspect it will be the same no matter what OS I choose.Derrick wrote:Nice find. Thanks for the update on this. Please let me know if the compatability change does the trick
One of the weirdest things is that I have a specific macro that says "vendor buy bank guards i wish to lock this down" etc. That brings up my bank fine. But if I say "bank", that doesn't work. If I change my macro to say something else, for example, "bank vendor sell", that doesn't work either. Very strange
